Package Stage

The package is the title and thumbnail a viewer sees in their feed. It’s the only thing standing between your video and a scroll past.

If the package doesn’t earn the click, the hook, the script, the edit don’t get a chance.

Packaging first locks in the promise of the video. The hook’s job is to deliver on that promise, fast enough that the viewer stays.

Write the hook first and you end up with an opening that doesn’t match what got the click. Viewers feel the mismatch within seconds.

Mark 1–3 packages with Select in the toolbar. These are the angles you’d actually publish.

Three is the ceiling for a reason. More than that and you’re not choosing — you’re hedging. And hedging carries through every stage that follows.

Your finalists carry forward as package options, but hooks are created at the video level rather than one hook per finalist. The Hook stage initially uses the first selected package as generation context. Switching the package preview does not create or retune a separate hook.

You can change finalists later, but confirm that the hook and script still deliver the promise made by the package you intend to publish.
